I think I might have the explanation you’re looking for. In the Quran, Allah describes His creation:

He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He exalted above all that they associate (with Him).
He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent.
(Quran chapter 16, verses 3 – 4)

So we human beings are but a part of God’s creation, and it has been created with Truth.

Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind; but most of mankind know not. (Quran chapter 40, verse 57)

Here the Quran confirms that the Heavens and Earth (i.e. the material universe) is greater than us humans. My understanding (and Allah knows best) is that it is at least as real , and possibly more real than our perceptions.

The chapter quoted above is one entitled “The Reality” or Al-Haqqa in Arabic. It emphasizes the existence of Allah’s punishment both in this world and the hereafter. While this is an important part of our faith, it is not the only part. I hope you don’t take it out of context.

Here is another verse (which also should be understood in context), but may challenge many peoples pre-conceptions about Islam…

Lo! those who believe, and those who are Jews, and Christians, and Sabaeans whoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right surely their reward is with their Lord, and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.
(Quran chapter 2, verse 62)

I was expecting more than a direct quote from a holy book. The extract is very poetic. My mind interprets this piece, I’m sure, very differently from yours. All I imagine is terror, fear, retribution, immense power, darkness, destruction and death. These images are not unfamiliar in my earthly existence. Faith in God is based on the belief of the unknown. The hypothesis of one’s belief will truly be revealed only when one is completely dead and unfortunately, the individual will never be able share this knowledge with anyone else. The extract you have quoted has not enlightened me in anyway as to the understanding of reality as espoused by Islam. The fact that I may have interpreted the extract differently from you or anyone else may help to answer the question of “reality”. Is the world outside of our brain, mind, imagination, perception, intellect and consciousness real or does reality exist there?

Hinduism is not a politheist religion it is indeed a monotheist religion if you go deep inside … Above Brahma Vishnu and Shiva and above all the images and forms we have God who is Brahman which means Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Omniscient represented by OM. God has No form. Hinduism has no Idols but representation of the Same One Unique Divinity into various images – semidevtas with different duties and characteristics which are accepted as a vehicle or a way or mean to reach the Supreme without Form. The semi-devtas – the images are not the Ishwara ( The Supreme Divine Ishwara or Allah ). these images are a way to concentrate – representation of the Divine One.
Our Ishwara does not take it bad or wrong because the objective to have an image is only a temporary way to reach the Absolute without Form Master. Therefore, if you are intelligent enough, all the religions are the same and talking about the same GOD.
The 330 millions Gods are not Gods, but devtas that fulfill duties for the Almighty Supreme… So even above Krishna or Ram who are direct Visual Form and Manifestation of God ( without Form ) are just under the Power of The Supreme Lord. ( It is in the Bhagavad-Gita ).
Can You see that we are fighting for nothing ???

Allah, Ishwara, and GOD is the Same One Divinity.

Therefore Please try to avoid conflict and be tolerant to each other… Unity is Divinity… Division is the business of satan. Remember always….

You forget that we are in this world only for being tested and evaluated by the Almighty God. He created the different religions that takes us to the same place. Whatever your religion, God is the Same. We are talking about the same one God. Don’t you think that you are wasting your time to fight with each other… what will God think about this ? Fighting, criticizing each other ’s GOD and Killing for religion is very wrong because religion is only a mean to reach God… whatever religion you choose, it gives the same fruit…try not to represent your Religion as a way to dominate the World…if you do that, then it means that Satan is inside you….Please be careful, every religion in the world has its positives and negatives – No religion is perfect in the world because God is not so stupid to give you the keys to paradise for free. God wants to see you how you behave with other religion, how you live and respect the people of other casts, socities and religious belief… so my friends, stop all of this if you do not want to embrace Hell. Do not talk, think or listen bad of others… Please do not make laugh of Krishna, God or Allah, they are all the same One ! Do not fall in this trap.
I am sure they are laughing at you guys because they know your destiny. Never use the Religion for converting people, or dominating the world…because if you do that, God will cry and punish. Why ? Because we have the same red blood and we are the sons and daughters og the same GOD who appeared differently to many different people in different ways… But the objectives of all religion at the end of the day is : Do Good Avoid Bad. Its about a different perspective. Physics is neither a search for absolute truth, nor it guarantees its followers any sort of enlightenment. We physicists are in a constant effort to find out how well we can explain the world we live, processes our consciousness misses out. This was started over centuries and we ve been documenting the developments. We have no hope this would ever have an end, nor we expect this process to ever end. Then why we do this? we enjoy this. We enjoy this process of better understanding of the world around us. We comprise of non beleivers, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus and any other possible religion in the world. We are a group of people who chose not to sit back in sheer awe and attribute it all to the devine power. Yes we can”t explain the finest details of the world. We will be dumbstruck at that point. The difference is till there we had several answers and explanations, but all the while you had only one answer.

I am sorry for the intrusion, i don”t know i am welcome here. But i thought we had some common understanding( physics) to start the discussion.

because i am really afraid when i think about Allah, and i am always careful so as not to address Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala with things that i am not sure of, because Allah has said in meaning of interpretation, who is more wrong and unjust than those who say lies about Allah.

coz the Holy Quran says:
“There will be people who will accept the oneness of God and the prophethood, but they will not believe in it until blessed by Almighty Allah.

I just came across this video which made me a fan of his knowledge… About this man, He is a reverted Muslim. Previously, He was a Hindu and that too, a Pandit of Acharya Level. He was the President of All-India Brahmin Association for 3 yrs & was also a head priest at Birla Group of Temples, Banaras.
After watching this video, Adamant People may try to prove it wrong. Before watching this video, my only suggestion is to neutralize yourself, understand what this guy is trying to explain, and then analyze & verify with your holy scriptures (if any doubt) rather than criticizing anyone. you should know this Allah is nt limited to the meaning of light.He is a light upon light.It clearly describes in Quran about Who Allah is.According to Surah Nooh it states tht Allah is the Lights of Heaven and Earth.nt exactly reduced to the meaning of light That we see or we know.The parable of his light is as if there were a Niche and within it a lamp.The lamp enclosed in a glass,the glass as it were a brilliant star,lit from a blessed tree,an Olive neither of the West nor of the East,whose oil is well nigh illuminios,though fire scarce touched it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this method of teaching, my children and myself have benefitted greatly from such a clever scheme which may I have to say does not require for me to beat or treat my children badly as I have experienced in so many masjids. rather it allows them the opportunity to learn tajweed rules with the ease of understanding whereby they remember. Certainly it moves away from traditional methods but as my children are encouraged by their teachers to keep this method because of the ease it brings to their life. Sometimes we should think before we speak Islam moves with the times and is not confined to such narrow views it meets the requirements of new generations of new Muslims. it is the same book regardless of the colour coded reference, the colours don’t change the meaning of a single ayah nor does it take or depreciate the message or speech of Allah but affords the simple to enjoy its beautiful discourse and to take benefit from its wisdom.

Prophet Muhammad was a very kind person (PBUH). He wanted to have close relationship with other Arabs so he could convert them to the noble religion called Islam.

So he decided to marry Abu Bakr’s daughter Aisha. Unfortunately Aisha was only 6 yrs old. No matter how much did he want to have sex with a child, his cohorts advised him to not have sex with his latest wife. Muhammad was kind (PBUH) and Allah’s man. Muhammad was a social architect. He believed in saving destitute and poor women and decided that Quran should have verses that allow Allah’s blessed men (the Muslims) to have up to 4 wives. So if some women’s husband died in a war or something, someone else could take this person’s wife as his own, provided he ultimately has only 4 wives or less. However, Muhammad was a great prophet so he wrote another verse that prohibited anyone to marry his wives after he died. “Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy God’s Apostle, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in God’s sight an enormity. —Qur’an 33:53″

“Indeed, the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most of mankind do not realize it.” (Qur’an 40:57)

The composition of human beings is far less complex than the composition of the universe in which they exist. However, very few people reflect on this reality. Because of the apparent supremacy of human beings over the other creatures on this earth, man’s journeys through space and the continued advancement of their technology and knowledge, humankind in every age becomes arrogant and considers itself the greatest thing in this world. It is worth noting that the majority of humankind’s amazing discoveries are not concerning the human being, but his surroundings. Thus, human efforts tend to be focused on the material world rather than human beings. In this verse, God brings human beings back to their actual status in this world. Humankind is merely a small part of the existence which resulted from the miraculous act of divine creation. Thus, in order to understand why God created mankind, one first needs to answer the even more fundamental question of why God created.

To a Muslim, Allah is the Almighty Creator and Sustainer of the universe, Who is similar to nothing, and nothing is comparable to Him. The Prophet Muhammad was asked by his contemporaries about Allah; the answer came directly from Allah Himself in the form of a short chapter of the Quran, which is considered to be the essence of the unity or the motto of monotheism.

why does a muslim believe that islam is the only path to God and not other religions, and why does a hindu or christian believe otherwise. it is a simple concept of belief based on conditioning. since our birth we have been brainwashed to believe without reasoning and hence we follow like mules. our religion is not a choice but just depends on the religion of our parents. if Roshan was not born a muslim would he still propagate islam with blind faith just like he does now?

Alhamdolillah! JazakAllah Khayr for these Hadtihs! Finally some info about why music in Islam which I can trust. I agree with Kazama, because I know it is difficult to stop listening to music and grow beard at once. It takes times and you should gradually quit BUT it doesn’t mean that we souldn’t try. How can we expect to get the best Jannah and expect Allah SWT to hide our sins when we continue to commit sins at purpose. What are we going to say in the Court of Allah SWT on Qiyamah? “Oh Allah, it was too difficult!” are we going to say that if we commit sins on pupose! If you ask for forgiveness from Allah SWT, He has assured yo that He will wipe out ALL your sins, even the worst ones. BUT – the condition is that you QUIT, or at least TRY to quit committing the sins! THEN Allah SWT will forgive you and His Messenger Muhammad SAW will request Allah to forgive you on the Day of Judgement!
