The blasphemous silly pictorial depiction of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) by the godless and immoral western editors is understandable. What is, however, incomprehensible is the desecration of the Qur’aan Majeed by professed Muslims.
Not so long ago a shaitaani radio station which calls itself ‘channel islam’ offered a Qur’aanic aayat to be used as toilet paper, wrapping paper, scrap paper and gutter paper by running a full page advertisement in the Sunday Times in an endeavour to get more money for its coffers.
An aayat of Allah’s Pure and Holy Qur’aan was printed in the Sunday Times which the poorer segment of the population utilizes as toilet paper, and which all others use for a variety of menial and dirty purposes. When a builder’s worker open up the newspaper in which his dirty working boots were wrapped, the filthy heel was seen to fit squarely on the holy aayat. Does such desecration and blasphemy by Muslims not deserve greater stricture and condemnation than the cartoons of the kuffaar?
When Muslims defile the Qur’aan and insult the Nabi with their vile misdeeds, it is overlooked. But when the enemies inveigh against Islam, and which is only to be expected, and which is of a lesser degree than the insult by Muslims, a lot of hollow protesting takes place.
We need to examine ourselves and do much soul-searching. If we do so, we shall understand that the kuffaar are not to be blamed for the insulting cartoons. We, the Muslims, are the cause of the insulting cartoons which the enemies are able to so defiantly print.
Muslims, all over the world, are mercilessly desecrating and mutilating the Ahkaam (laws) of the Shariah. The Qur’aan and the Sunnah are being defiled by the very hands of Muslims. Spiritually and morally, the Ummah piles up insult on Islam by means of wanton transgression and abandonment. Every facet of Islam is subjected to sustained insult by Muslims.
Even the methodology of the protests against the insulting cartoons is insulting to Islam. In flagrant defiance of the Qur’aanic prohibition for women to remain ‘glued’ inside their homes, we find Muslim females ‘marching’ like prostitutes in the streets, mingling with men, screaming obscenities and vulgarities in total negation of the Sunnah concept of Haya (shame and modesty), which is supposed to be the natural virtue and treasure of the daughters of Islam.
While the protestors purport to march in defence of the honour of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), they violate every law of the Divine Book, and they trample on the teachings of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), for his honour, is not in need of women who assert and express themselves, screaming and running in the public like animals and their western counterparts. The woman who guards her Hijaab, protects her modesty and remains indoors, is the one who truly and correctly maintains the honour of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
It is such a female who defends the honour of Nabi-e-Kareem (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), not the emissaries of immorality who prowl the streets and who rub shoulders with males in depictions of zina of a variety of kinds.
What type of protest in defence of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) is a conduct which sullies the Ahkaam of the Sunnah and rudely violates the proscriptions of the Qur’aan?
The Ulama are very largely the culprits and responsible for the state of abject moral decadence of the masses. They participate in the evil. They support the public misdemeanours of moral turpitude which female emergence and self expression spawn. They seal their lips in the face of brutal assaults on the Qur’aan and the Sunnah by Muslims who cast the Shariah overboard without even batting an eyelid.
Ulama participate in ‘protest’ marches bedevilled by female presence. The Ulama deliver discourses at such haraam gatherings while they dwell in the colossal deception of standing up in defence of the honour of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). They are astray and they lead the dumb masses astray. The time will come when they will have to circumambulate their entrails in Jahannum according to the Hadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
When the masses and the Ulama unite in the desecration of Allah’s Shariah —the Qur’aan and the Sunnah— the motive of their ‘protesting’ is questionable. We have to examine our own lifestyle and dissect our newly acquired ideologies. We shall then understand who has opened the avenue and provided the licence to the kuffaar for insulting Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and Islam.
