Queer “Muslims”

I stumbled upon the following link, and its entire site baffled me:

Its a site for the group of people in this world who convince themselves that Allah, May He forgive us all, has always allowed ‘sexual diversity’ (or more understandably sexual relations with the same sex) through the Quran and through the Shariah.

Muhsin Hendricks, who we will assume is a queer ‘Muslim’ wrote the linked article discussing the following:

  1. Does the Quran recognize diversity and does this diversity extend to/include sexual diversity?
  2. Did the prophet Muhammad recognize diversity in his society and what was his responds to it?
  3. Does the Quran really speak about homosexuality?
  4. What was the nature of the crimes of the people of Nabi Lut and how do we relate to it?
  5. What is our Islamic responsibility as a sexually diverse group?
  6. Is there a necessity for the building of an Islamic gay culture?

Follow that link to see what he tries to explain.

I am speaking lightly towards this group because this is a very sensitive issue, especially towards Muslims who are growing, or have grown with the perfect Islamic Environment. Of course this issue is a Fitna. Are same sex relations allowed in Islam? No, of course not. Why? Because Allah has destroyed those who disobeyed His Great Laws. How do we know? Take a look at the official tafseer’s of the Qur’an. Not the recent one’s made within this century. The Shariah forbids it, and punishes it. Why is this forbidden, and most severely punished? Because obviously Islam means submission. And not following what is natural, and not following the Sunnah, and following what the People of Lut had done is a Path that is not Straight. Its most obvious, and to struggle and explain that your gay or lesbian, but you want to remain a Muslims is a headache for the rest of the Muslims. Why? Because its not natural. One who tries to explain that he/she is gay because they grew up in such an environment, and is now natural is not trustworthy because that person allows the Shaitaan to tickle and play around with him/her. Lets use logic and natural understanding to figure out why ‘sexual diversity’ as its named in excuse, is Haraam. Why? Because firstly logic and natural understanding is the way in which we live, the way in which we use our only ability, choice. It is this which the Messenger of Allah and the Great Message that was most mercifully brought to this World uses to ask us the questions that drive us, and bring self-evidently correct reason to our minds so that we are good people. Has not Allah made diseases for those who do such wrong? To fully understand why ‘sexual diversity is haraam, through the teachings of Quran and Sunnah, go to meet the Ulema-e-Haqq.

Follow this Link: [ http://www.jamiat.org.za/whatsnew/homosexuality.html ] which I’ll quote the following:

“Every true believer living in this world fears the wrath and punishment of Allah Ta’ala. Are you safe, O my brother, from the punishment of Allah Ta’ala? The question each one of us has to ask himself is: Would you like to be amongst those who will be punished tomorrow, on the day in which neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit except to that person who appears before Allah with a pure heart? Would you be happy if your soul were reduced to the lowest position after Allah had created it in the best of forms? Would you allow myself to be disgraced in front of the whole of mankind and the entire creation on the Day of Qiyaamah (Reckoning)? Certainly you would not like any of this to happen to you!”

These are explanations of Scholars who have most serious resumes, who have memorised the Qur’an and then learned the Mufassal of it through original’s, and not from people who deviate to their wants. The are Men and Women who gave their entire life to the propagation of deen. These are those who have done unbelievable good in their lives. Look at the characteristics of your teacher, is there good in what he/she teaches? Think deeply of what they explain, for these are issues that run our way of Life. May Allah give this Ummat the understanding needed to live the Haqq of Islam through this constant fitna of the End of Days. Ameen. Jazakallah!
